SO. We are just found out yesterday we are having our third son. We also found out that he is healthy so far. My two boys were thrilled as they have wanted nothing but another boy since they found out someone new would join our family. They seem to be in a very small group that truly understand what it means to have a monopoly where the sexes are concerened. Most people seem to think the golden ticket is one of each. Although I admit the little girl's clothing section may sting a little bit; I still can't help but feel a little pride with my all boy tribe. I am one of four girls (the third girl no less) and I never once wished I had a brother. In fact, I know many girls from that golden boy/girl sibling combo that desperatly would say to me "I so wish I had sisters like you". Truth is, there is no perfect combo, when kids get sick, made fun of, or have trouble in school the pain is all the same. Boy or girl. Us parents want the same thing... for them to be happy.
I am already so in love with this new little guy, and now that I know he is in there safe and sound, I couldn't picture my life any other way....
Here is to being happy with the hands that we are dealt.
